If you are ever bored at work, take a look at this blog. This poor guy’s wife left him and took everything except one thing; her wedding dress. Instead of donating it, Kevin Cotter decided to turn his sorrows into laughter for others. He is looking for 101 uses for his ex-wife’s wedding dress, and he is currently on 26. I must say, using it as a coffee filter was a brilliant idea, however the coffee might taste a little off. Judge for yourself and help him find new ways by visiting his blog HERE

The title says it all. Some of them I agree with, others not so much. For example, at number one is the “Segway”. The Segway makes impossible sight-seeing walking a thing of the past! At number 21 are Crocs. They might be ugly and not very fashionable, but on lazy Sundays at the park, they come in handy. At number 19 are tanning beds. How are people in Minnesota supposed to get a tan in December? The ones I must agree with are:

1. The Ford Pinto, this 1970s death machine is known to explode on impact.
2. Clippy from Microsoft Word, He makes writing an article a distraction. Trust me Clippy, you can’t help me!
3. Pay Toilets, I need to pay you $1.00 to relieve myself? I’ll just go behind that tree.
4.  Spam Email, I’m 25 and don’t need a life time supply of Viagra
5. Venetian-Blind Sunglasses, I cringe every time I see a tween wearing a pair

A few months ago, I wrote an article about how numerous leatherware companies are focusing on men's fashion. Well, Coach has opened it's first men's store in New York! The store is located at 370 Bleecker Street in NYC. For all you lucky New Yorkers, the store carries alot of exclusive merchandise!

 Well, It’s Saint Patties Day and what better way to show everyone how good of a drunken time you’re having than to have a portal of it all streaming live to your Facebook, Twitter account, or blog.  That’s right, instantly share that kick ass pub you are going to tonight; (or perhaps you are already at), the green beer you are drinking, or that crazy driver that almost killed you on your way home.

How do you do it you ask?  Well you need three things: a social networking profile like Facebook or Twitter, a mobile phone with Data – i.e. a 3G network, and the application Qik.  Qik supports over 140 phones so chances are yours will work.  For my purposes, I used my Facebook account and a Motorola Droid with Google’s Android operating system. 

Just follow the three easy steps…. 

1. On your mobile, search the marketplace or store for “Qik”, install the app, and signup.
2. Go to Facebook and search for “Qik” in the Facebook apps section.  Follow the sign in directions and say yes to embed Qik on your face book page.
3. Open Qik on your mobileand press the green button!

 

That’s it!  In less than five minutes you can have webcam live streaming anywhere from your mobile phone!  No need to post a status update of how good the band is when you can stream it live for all to see instead!
