If your face is looking a little tired after a rough day at work or even if you've been missing out on sleep, this masque will wake your face up with an extreme cooling sensation and some very deep cleansing. It's Queen Helene's Mint Julep Masque. It helps get rid of blackheads (which, for some guys, are a never-ending story), calm redness and it can even be used as a spot-acne treatment. Now, are you ready for the best part?! It only costs $4!!! That's right! FOUR DOLLARS! Two warnings: 1] u... Continue reading ...

A tough economy means even tougher shopping as many shoppers do not have the funds to go to their favorite designer and pick out something to wear for a party or job interview. I went undercover, around the United States, to see if outlet malls are a better bargain than the normal stores.
Castle Rock, CO: I decided I would venture into my favorite leather ware store, being Coach. The guys section was small, but had some of the latest styles for 30% off. Score: Outlet 1, Store 0.

Every once in a while, I like to look just a little bit sharper than usual. A great way to do this? Accessories. Now I know I've done Accessorize! posts but none like this.
The classically-styled touch that comes with the right cufflinks, hat or even an ascot takes you right back to the days of The Great Gatsby.
A few of my faves on the site (and definitely on my wishlist!!) are:

Junior Vasquez modeling for Hommework at the 2009 Bring It Downtown Fashion Event
That's right, y'all...TheMuthaEffingPrince.com. Junior Vasquez describes his site as "Perez HIlton...without the hypocrisy". I feel that it has more than that. He's got so much more personality than PH and doesn't take his personal aggressions with people out on his blog. I really enjoy all his "...of the Day" posts. You just can't help but laugh along with THIS LOL of the Day. To catch up on the latest Hollywood... Continue reading ...

As our first "5 Minutes with TMFB", I'm very happy to share a great site with you all. In order to bring consumer closer to retailer, Matt Fox, shopkeeper ofFineAndDandyShop.com, answers five questions for us.
Matt Fox: I've always been somewhat of a dandy myself. I was the kid in high school who always wore a tie. In most of my adult life, I fantasized about opening up a men's clothing store. About a year and a half ago I ... Continue reading ...

When you think about the state of Wyoming, you think barren, cold, and Yellowstone National Park. During the summer, however, Cheyenne becomes an active city, with visitors from all over the U.S. Today, Cheyenne’s economic base is supported mostly by government, wholesale, retail trade, and tourism. Cheyenne still serves as a major crossroad in the Western U.S. Gone are the numerous saloons and vigilante days, but the spirit of the old times still comes to life each year during Cheyenne Front... In the next few weeks, I've got a couple of events which require that I wear a tie. Now, there is nothing I hate more than feeling restrained and ties are like seatbelts for my neck. [remember: when riding in an automobile, ALWAYS wear your safety belt]
A few weeks ago, though, I tried something new. A bow-tie! Something about the hanging ends of a regular neck-tie make me uneasy but the bow-tie on the other hand, was completely fuss free. Once it was on, there was no messing with it at all. I... Continue reading ...

Did you just spend a weekend with friends at their vacation house? Were you recently invited to an event hosted by a friend? Did you have a birthday party (for yourself)?
If you answered yes to any of the above questions, good for you!! Now, SEND A THANK YOU NOTE!!! Trust me, it's a very nice gesture that can take your friendships very far.
I prefer using blank white [or simply colored] notecards. Nothing fancy, no snooty monogrammed BS, just simple, classic white notecards. GrassrootsStore.co... Continue reading ...

Hallelujah!!! The men of El Paso finally have a place to shop and shop well! Hommework is a store with a clever name and an even smarter selection. They've got everything: watches (which I go crazy for), some great products from unique brands (Shades of Greige, Maison Bibliotheque Jeans, GRN Apple Tree, ALIFE shoes, Creative Recreation, etc.), and now, Recess - a women's store. Hommework opened in October of 2008 in one of the busiest areas of town. Following a slow and steady buzz, they are ... Continue reading ...

 Fisherman's Wharf
I recently travelled to San Francisco and, as I had never been there before, I really didn't know what to expect. I've heard lots of stories about the great Sourdough Bread, the Golden Gate Bridge, Trolleys, and, of course, the interesting people. Upon landing at SFO, we boarded the BART (Bay Area Regional Transportation) to our hotel downtown. When we emerged from the underground transportation system, it was like stepping into a movie, completely surrounded by tall building... Continue reading ...

Gentlemen, hello. I am delighted to be the newest contributing blogger on The Men's Fashion Blog. As my introductory entry, I'd like to introduce some of you to the very talented, Tim Hamilton. Some of his looks are a bit eccentric but I just love the layering, the v-neck sweaters, the rockabilly-wannabe and the trench coats. His Fall 2009 collection features all of the above. Here are a couple of my favorite looks. -Jessica, of TheRestIsJustIcing.com Continue reading ...
